A Photographic Fight Against Entropy

A really good sushi place is hard to find, eh?  Well the place where this picture was taken is, in my not so humble opinion, great.  It’s called Moshi Moshi.  Here’s the info…

One of my photographic heroes is the fashion photographer Andy Lee.  I love how he is not afraid to take risks when it comes to the contrast of his images, and how he is able to work so well with brightly colored and black and white images.
This image was processed in Lightroom 4 after I’d spent a rather large chunk of time looking at Mr. Lee’s website, and I get the feeling that something from his images was soaked into my subconscience brain, and that it was influencing me as I processed this image.  View high resolution

I feel more comfortable working in / with black and white images.  I don’t really know why that is…  However, I really enjoy looking at color photography, in particular when it is street style photography.
When I was running this image through my workflow I made a black and white version of it, but then I started to mess around with the color version, and this is what I came up with.  I think we can all agree I’m not Scott Schuman, but I think the picture turned out OK.    View high resolution
